Paul Cluskey

Managing Director

Paul is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of the business. Paul’s career in construction began over 25 years ago in 1989 as an apprentice working for Sir Robert McAlpine. He progressed into several senior site management roles with McAlpine before joining Mace in 2004 where he delivered a number of significant construction schemes in the role of Construction Director. During the course of his career he has been heavily involved in construction, demolition and Engineering projects.

Paul remains passionate about project delivery and service offer quality. He has led the development and growth of Cantillon alongside Michael Cantillon and ensures that the high standards he sets are shared and delivered throughout the company.

Paul Moody

Operations Director

Paul Is Cantillon’s Operations Director and responsible for the delivery of all of our projects alongside the operational team.

He began his career as an engineer before moving into site and project management roles. Paul’s experience within the industry spans over 20 years, during this time he has developed his expertise in demolition and structural packages.

Paul is actively involved in the bid and pre construction phase of our projects, drawing on his practical and logistical expertise and working in conjunction with our estimating and engineering disciplines to ensure that we provide the right solution’s on every scheme and full value to our clients.

Paul is fully client focused and maintains his input throughout the life cycle of our projects to ensure that our standards and commitments are met fully.

Patrick Carberry

Estimating Director

Working in conjunction with George Mackey, Pat has responsibility for all commercial tender submissions, compiled alongside the Cantillon pre construction team.

Pat joined Cantillon in 2010. Prior to joining Cantillon, Pat had over 25 years’ experience within construction commercial teams as Management and QS and his previous roles have enabled him to become fully conversant with all forms of construction contract. Prior to joining Cantillon, and concurrent with his estimating duties, Pat also acted as Contracts Manager on a number of contracts.

Pat’s construction career began in main contracting before making the move into the demolition and groundworks market. Pat has significant experience in all forms of demolition and construction, having been involved in a number of complex and prestigious schemes over the course of his career.

George Mackey

Estimating Director

George Mackey has over 40 years of demolition and groundworks experience.

He began his career delivering projects for McGee working his way to become head of demolition. After 19 years in this role, he assumed a directorship with Keanes, covering major demolition and civil engineering projects Wembley Stadium, One New Change, Olympic Park, and Royal Opera House to name but a few.

George brings unrivaled experience to the Cantillon team and is involved in every aspect of estimating from budget advice to handover to the delivery team.

He is very well respected throughout the industry and is an invaluable asset within Cantillon.

Bruce Diffey

Commercial Director

Bruce heads the Commercial Department and is responsible for all commercial and contractual aspects of the business.

He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. Whilst his early career was spent in main contracting, he has spent the last 10 years in the demolition sector delivering projects that have included significant elements of permanent works.

In particular, Bruce was involved with the demolition of three buildings at Liverpool Street for Crossrail, demolition, piling and basement works above the Northern Line at 145 City Road, a complex four-sided façade retention scheme in Leicester Square and the redevelopment of the iconic Centre Point tower at Tottenham Court Road.

He brings to the business his professional status, commercial knowledge, contractual awareness, technical knowledge and negotiating skills.

Jenny Fowler

Office Manager

Jenny is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of our office environment. Her vast skills include IT and communications, facilities, fleet, HR and management of the overall administrative provision.

Her experience has been developed over the past 20 years working with Cantillon which has evolved with the growth of the company. Jenny is a dedicated and key member of the Cantillon Team.

John Rimmer

SHEQ Manager

John leads our SHEQ department, he is responsible for production and development of the company’s SHEQ management system, and implementation  of a positive SHEQ culture with the Company.   John’s career in Safety, Health, Environment and Quality began over 22 years ago as an internal H&S and Quality  auditor for Network Rail, moving on to London Underground contracting, construction, Airfield construction, road construction, nuclear power, ship HVAC fit out, manufacturing, office and latterly within the demolition industry and Cantillon.

John is totally committed to ensuring that Cantillon remains at the head of the demolition industry and working with all employees to retain the Company’s enviable record in high quality Safety, Health, Environment and Quality delivery.

Fred Dann

Asbestos Manager

Fred is responsible for the organisation and delegation of all asbestos removal works for Cantillon.

He has been in the Asbestos Industry since 1985. Initially working as an operative progressing to a Site Supervisor in 1990. In this time he has worked for various asbestos companies including Brookdale Environmental, Harrow Insulations & Forest Environmental Limited, before venturing on his own in a sub-contracting capacity within the demolition industry. During his career his Asbestos team undertook the majority of the Asbestos work for Cantillon, before becoming a fully employed member of staff in 2013.

Fred and his team are involved with all Cantillon projects from Tender stage through to delivery. His personally trained super-efficient team are renowned in the Demolition business for their attention to detail and highly safety conscious delivery of work and this has been recognised with several awards at the NDFC over the last few years.

Simon Simpson

Principal Engineer

Simon is our Principal Structural Engineer who is responsible for dealing with engineering and technical matters and supporting the site teams on technical matters. Simon has over 30 years industry experience which was initially with a Principal Contractor and latterly over the past 15 years with specialist demolition and temporary works consultants.

He is actively involved in both the pre- and post- contract phases of our projects ensuring a full technical overview. Simon brings a wealth of specialist temporary works experience on a broad range of project types including complex and bespoke temporary works solutions. His broad experience includes temporary works associated with dismantling, retention, refurbishment, groundworks, new build and Infrastructure.
