Cantillon is proud to announce that we have successfully attained the Silver Standard for FORS.
In joining FORS, Cantillon is actively committed to continually improve safety, our environmental impact and efficiency through a range of initiatives.

Demolition can be a dirty business but Cantillon reaped the rewards and were Highly Commended in the Demolition category at the Construction News – Specialist Awards whilst also being Highly Commended in the Specialist category at the Construction News Awards.

Cantillon progressed to the Silver Standard by maintaining all the necessary requirements for Bronze, whilst adding confirmation of continuous driver training and vehicle warning equipment, plus performance measurement and monitoring of fuel usage and costs by distance travelled, transport related CO2 output mileage and records on fines and incidents.

Cantillon feels that this demonstrates our commitment to continually improving safety and compliance to the highest standards. We will positively monitor and manage our vehicles, drivers and operations, ensuring transportation duties are carried out safely and efficiently. The Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme (FORS) is an independent accrediting body set up to review fleet operations within major cities in the UK. Through encouraging and recognising the good working practices of individual operators, the FORS scheme aims to improve all areas of freight distribution in London.

The scheme encourages sustainable best practice for road freight operators and promotes safe working practices, lawfulness and a corporate social responsibility to improve the performance of road freight operations.
