Cantillon has won the coveted Gold Award for excellent Health & Safety management at the 2009 RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Awards.

The award recognises organisations that have displayed an excellent level of occupational Health & Safety performance and development and takes into account the merits of its reportable accident rate and enforcement experience. Gold Awards dignify below average and reducing rates of error and loss and no fatal or major injuries due to employer negligence. 

John Rimmer, SHEQ Manager at Cantillon, commented, “Gaining a RoSPA Gold at the first submission was a very pleasing result. We had to show that the company had achieved a high level of management ability that could be recognised by a group of industry knowledgeable judges. Now we have to be able to build on that result and show that we have improved yet further for 2010.”

Cantillon constantly re-evaluates the service it provides to ensure it stays on top of its game. Winning Gold at the RoSPA awards is a great finish to another highly successful year in which the company has continued to place Health & Safety as a top priority by bringing it into focus for all employees.
